Our client is a fast-growing financial services firm specializing in investment management, private equity, and strategic advisory.
Job Description
Process bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for salaried and hourly employees
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations
Maintain accurate payroll records, including garnishments, deductions, and PTO accruals
Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Assist with payroll audits and provide support for internal/external reporting
Partner with HR and Finance teams on compensation changes, bonuses, and year-end processing
Prepare and reconcile payroll journal entries in coordination with accounting

The Successful Applicant
3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in financial services or a corporate environment
Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations (multi-state experience a plus)
Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now (or similar payroll systems)
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, or a related field preferred; CPP certification a plus
