Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing, or a related field Seven or more years in physician relations, business development, or healthcare leadership, with a proven track record of driving referral growth and building provider networks. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Strong knowledge of hospital operations, clinical services, and physician practice dynamics. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Ability to travel frequently to community practices, clinics, and healthcare organizations. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Outreach & Relationship Building: Build and maintain trusted partnerships with community physicians, practice managers, and healthcare providers to increase referral volumes. Represent UAMS in clinics, medical groups, and physician offices, identifying new referral opportunities and strengthening existing pipelines. Business Development & Growth: Develop and execute outreach strategies to drive referral growth in targeted specialties and service lines. Collaborate with hospital leadership, service line directors, and marketing teams to align outreach with organizational growth priorities. Monitor referral patterns, analyze trends, and implement strategies to expand UAMS' market share. Clinical Knowledge & Communication: Stay informed on UAMS programs, specialty services, and technology to effectively communicate offerings to external providers. Educate community physicians on clinical pathways, patient access processes, and service differentiators. Serve as a resource to referring physicians, ensuring their patients receive high-quality, timely care. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with hospital executives, physician leadership, and operations teams to resolve barriers to referrals and improve provider satisfaction. Provide feedback from community physicians to hospital leadership to support service enhancements and operational improvements. Reporting & Accountability: Track outreach activities, referral growth, and relationship progress through CRM or designated systems. Deliver regular updates and growth metrics to senior leadership. Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in all outreach activities.
