The *General Manager People Partnering* will work closely with the HammondCare Leadership Team (HLT) and HammondCare Leadership Group (HLG) to provide strategic advice, tailored solutions and expert guidance, leveraging best practices and industry wide data and information to strategically partner and ultimately support the delivery of the broader HammondCare strategy and strategic initiatives.The role is instrumental in delivering the People Strategy which forms part of the overall business strategy. It is responsible for coaching and supporting senior leaders to deliver on their people priorities through embedding standardised people practices such as performance management, talent and succession planning, remuneration frameworks and team member engagement, organisation development and governance initiatives. The role also manages and develops a Senior People Partner.***This role is a permanent full-time position based in Sydney with hybrid opportunities.*****What we can offer you**We care about your wellbeing at HammondCare and as a result offer a wide range of health and lifestyle benefits including:* NFP salary packaging ($15,900 tax free) plus meals and entertainment benefit (up to $2,650 tax free)* Additional leave purchase options and 14 weeks paid parental leave* Flexible working options, including hybrid arrangements* Discounts on everyday products and services* Discounted healthcare memberships - access to network of fitness centres and pools for employees and families* Free access to independent counselling support for employees and families* Health & Wellbeing programmes* Reward & Recognition programmes* Referral bonuses* Career and professional development opportunities**Key Responsibilities include*** Work closely with the CPO and the People Leadership team to design and deliver the People Strategy* Lead the delivery of the strategic initiatives for the People Business Partnering team within designated business units* Lead, coach and provide day to day advice and guidance to the Senior People Partner* Coach leaders to proactively and effectively deliver on their people priorities and manage team member performance* Provide high level support and people-related advice to designated HLT and HLG stakeholders on key strategies, trends, performance management, employment relations, engagement, organisational development, and coach for best practice in a way that builds leadership capability* Provide advice and guidance on optimal organisation design (spans, layers, job design, structure etc), organisational change and ER obligations to designated HLT and HLG stakeholders to ensure structures and capability are fit for purpose to effectively deliver on the workforce strategy* Support designated HLT and HLG in the execution of their responsibilities through the provision of relevant people data, analytics, insights, information, and advice* Develop and deliver plans to implement the workforce strategy* Lead cyclical people processes within designed business units including: -
+ succession planning and talent management, ensuring capable and aligned individuals are identified, developed, and have the skills to support a growing for-purpose organisation
+ remuneration and salary reviews in partnership with the remuneration team
