Job Summary
Admissions Counselor Recruiter Primary purpose: recruit students, process admissions, provide tours/interviews and participate in special events. Responsibilities
Travel to assigned territories to recruit freshmen and build relationships with counselors. Target students in specific majors to meet enrollment goals. Interview and assist students and families through the admissions process and guide them through enrollment. Develop and maintain relationships with prospective students and families, providing exceptional customer service and answering phone calls, correspondence, and inquiries in a timely manner. Enter data in the student recruitment data system and use data to target communications. Assist with recruitment events and campus tours for visiting students; provide campus information sessions and participate in orientation events. Participate in speaking engagements, college information sessions, workshops and conferences, act as a resource. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Minimum 1 year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license and good driving record. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organized, detail oriented and dependable follow‑through. Preferred: Master’s degree in Student Services or related field, or bachelor’s degree with 2 years related experience. Benefits
