Advanced Providers Role Scope
We have a growth opportunity for a Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice RN (APRN) who will enjoy:
Unique, 1:1 training with a neurosurgeon
Growth and development
Both clinic and OR time (1st Assist)
Working with a team of advanced practitioners with neurosurgery experience
Participation in work-up, planning, and surgical procedures including advanced cranial and spine surgeries (craniotomies for epilepsy, tumor, and trauma as well as complex and deformity spine cases)
Established practice and staff who take time with their patients
Hours
- Full Time, four 10-hour shifts, M-F. Hours may vary dependent upon case load

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred
Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an APRN
RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assist) certification required for APRN
Preferred >1-year experience as a Surgical Physician Assistant in a Neurosurgery or Orthopedic setting; 1st Assist in OR preferred
