Performance Test Lead
Infosys is seeking a
Performance Test Lead . As a Performance Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design, and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Your work will involve collaborating with talented professionals to create innovative, high-quality, defect‑free solutions that meet our clients’ business needs. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience may be considered in lieu of one year of education.
4 years of Information Technology experience.
Located within commuting distance of Fort Mill, SC, or willing to relocate to that area.
Position may require travel in the US and Canada.
At least 4 years of software testing experience.
Authorized to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship; Infosys does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Review approved requirements and technical design documents and develop performance test strategy and plan.
Collaborate with Development, Architects, Business and Production Support throughout all stages of PTLC.
Broad knowledge of performance testing methodology and tools across a wide variety of technologies and architectures.
In‑depth knowledge working with JMeter and Blazemeter; experience with HTTP, Java, Bean Shell, SOAP Samplers.
Strong knowledge of designing performance testing and monitoring frameworks for non‑functional testing (load, volume, stress, capacity, scalability).
Proficiency in SQL database tuning, data requirements, and batch job performance.
Experience identifying and recommending tuning for infrastructure components such as application servers, database servers (SQL, MongoDB), middleware (MQ, Kafka), and web servers, with an eye toward long‑term architectural improvement.
Implementation of application and log monitoring solutions; knowledge of Dynatrace, ELK, and related profiling tools.
Conduct application performance reviews with teams to identify performance issues.
Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure on performance engineering, design, and testing.
Working knowledge of methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum.
Project management and prioritization to meet milestones and deliverables.
Knowledge of microservice architectures, cloud (AWS/Azure) or hybrid infrastructure.
Experience in Investment Management or Capital Market domain is a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication; strong presentation skills.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. You should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
