Social Media Coordinator - Lakeside Shopping Center
• Part Time Temporary Position. Location: Metairie, LA. Department: Marketing. About The Role
We’re seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to elevate the digital presence of our shopping mall. From fashion finds to foodie favorites, you’ll be the storyteller behind our brand-showcasing retailers, events, and experiences that make our mall a must-visit destination. If you’re passionate about community engagement, trend-spotting, and turning foot traffic into followers, this is your stage. Responsibilities
Create engaging content (photos, videos, reels, stories) that highlights shopping, dining, entertainment, and promotions. Manage daily posting across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.). Collaborate with tenants to amplify brand visibility. Coordinate with marketing and events teams to support mall-wide initiatives. Stay current on retail trends, platform updates, and digital innovations. Requirements
2-4 years of experience in social media, preferably in retail, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors. Strong visual storytelling and copywriting skills. Proficiency in social media scheduling and analytics tools (Later). Experience with photo/video editing apps (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite). Ability to work on-site for content capture and event coverage. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with influencer marketing and user-generated content strategies. Bonus Points
Experience working with shopping centers, retail brands, or entertainment venues. Knowledge of local community and cultural events. What We Offer
