Military experience is a plus when other requirements are also present.

S3, Inc. has experienced significant growth over the past two years and we have an immediate need for a Corporate President to sustain this growth. The position will be located at our corporate HQ in Research Park, Huntsville, AL.

We are not looking for OEM experience to develop products (manufacturing); that is not what we do.

DESCRIPTION The Corporate President is a C‑Suite executive, reporting to the CEO, with the accountability to lead the company’s contract, product, and service performance. The President ensures alignment with the company’s mission and customers’ objectives, managing growth through the technical leadership staff. The President manages the technical solutions and services to our customers, develops the plan for a minimum of 10% growth performance targets, and manages to execute that plan into reality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Oversight Ensure that the pipeline delivers a minimum of 10% growth in annual revenue.

Leadership

Lead and motivate the company's executive technical team and employees.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Provide guidance and support to employees, ensuring they have the resources and training they need to succeed.

Represent the company in meetings with government officials, industry partners, and other stakeholders.

Financial Management

Oversee the contract’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Ensure the company is profitable and financially stable for contract execution.

Coordinate with the CEO to manage the company's cash flow requirements.

Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and DoD policies.

Identify and mitigate potential contract performance risks to the company.

Maintain strong internal controls to prevent fraud and waste.

QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree required; PhD preferred.

Experience 30 years of experience in senior technical management roles, progressing with time from PM to SrPM to director, VP, and President within the defense contracting industry. While military and GS time are applicable, experience in C‑Suite management roles in the technical services industry is required to mitigate transitional performance risk.

Skills Strong technical leadership, strategic planning, financial management, and communication skills in DoD weapon systems development, training, programmatic, and logistics services as a prime contractor of technical services.

Knowledge In‑depth knowledge of the DoD contracting process, Shipley proposal process, the acquisition process, industry regulations, and best business practices. Customer and product awareness for the Army, Navy, and Air Force weapons acquisition for missiles, space, and aviation requirements.

Other Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, a strong commitment to ethical conduct, knowledge of and interaction with the government leadership of Huntsville, AL, Federal agencies and working interactions with Huntsville, AL technical services prime contractors, and an internal drive to achieve mission success ahead of schedule and within cost.
