Salary: $35-$45/hr
Shift: 1st
Location: On-site, Milwaukee, WI
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment in a shop environment
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system maintenance and repairs
• Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure equipment meets operational standards
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and verify completed repairs
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery and components following OEM specifications
• Perform basic welding, cutting, and fabrication as needed
• Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and work orders accurately
• Complete all service documentation and reports in a timely manner
• Collaborate with service and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow
• Follow all workplace safety and OSHA compliance standards
Education Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical or vocational training in equipment maintenance preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose complex systems
• Experience with heavy equipment service and repair
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Basic computer and diagnostic software proficiency
• Solid communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Basic welding and fabrication experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks safely
