We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Clinical Staff / Ambulatory Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This dual-role pharmacist will provide comprehensive pharmacy services across both inpatient and ambulatory care settings, ensuring the safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medications for a diverse patient population—from pediatrics to geriatrics. In the inpatient setting, responsibilities include order verification, medication dispensing, and collaboration with providers to optimize pharmacotherapy. In the ambulatory setting, the pharmacist may rotate through areas such as anticoagulation management, oncology, or other outpatient specialty clinics. Evenings - 8-hour shifts; Start times vary between 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM Pay Range:

$2500-$3000 Gross Weekly

Key Responsibilities: Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently Dispense medications and review for appropriateness, interactions, and contraindications Provide clinical support and drug information to healthcare providers and patients Participate in interdisciplinary patient care rounds (as applicable) Rotate into ambulatory clinics (e.g., anticoagulation, oncology) as assigned by pharmacy leadership Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations Participate in quality improvement and medication safety initiatives

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred Experience: Recent hospital pharmacy experience preferred Ambulatory care or PGY1/PGY2 residency training strongly preferred if rotating into clinic settings Advanced practice certifications (e.g., BCPS, BCACP) preferred Licensure/Certifications: Current and active Pennsylvania pharmacist license or eligible for reciprocity within 90 days of hire If rotating into Anticoagulation Clinic: Must have valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); renewal required every two years Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of pharmacology and clinical therapeutics Familiarity with hospital and clinic workflows and electronic medical record systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with healthcare teams and patients Commitment to patient safety, medication accuracy, and ongoing professional development
