Description
The Bartender delivers friendly, professional, and timely service while preparing and serving beverages in accordance with company standards and applicable laws. This role ensures a well-stocked, clean, and safe bar environment and creates memorable guest experiences. In addition to traditional bartending duties, the Bartender should also possess barista skillsto prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso-based beverages. Essential Functions Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to specification; follow all recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards. Prepare and serve espresso drinks, coffee beverages, and other café offerings with consistency and attention to quality. Verify guest age and identification; practice responsible alcohol service and intervene/refuse service when appropriate. Engage guests with warm, attentive hospitality; anticipate needs, make recommendations, upsell thoughtfully, and resolve concerns promptly. Set up, stock, and break down bar each shift (garnishes, glassware, mixers, ice, beer/wine/spirits, coffee supplies); maintain par levels. Operate POS accurately; handle cash, credit, comps, and room charges; balance bank and complete end-of-shift paperwork. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar, coffee equipment, tools, and service areas; comply with health, safety, and company policies. Coordinate with servers, hosts, and culinary team to ensure smooth, timely service. Monitor inventory, note variances, and assist with ordering, receiving, and monthly counts. Support outlet goals for guest satisfaction, revenue per cover, and check averages. Perform side work and other duties as assigned. Benefits We Offer:

Minimum 1 year bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume bar preferred. Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits. Strong guest service, communication, and problem-solving skills; calm under pressure. Proficient with POS systems and basic cash handling. Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol;
TIPS/TEAM/ServSafe Alcohol
certification preferred (or obtained within 30 days). Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods; lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs; frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
