Job Details:
We’re a fast-paced, high-growth concrete contractor specializing in residential production work for both national and local homebuilders. Our projects include everything from foundations to flatwork to hardscapes – all done at scale across multiple subdivisions. With a strong reputation built on quality, efficiency, and consistency, we’re expanding our leadership team to keep up with growing demand. Responsibilities: Lead landscape estimating efforts on high-volume residential construction projects
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and counts using software like PlanSwift or equivalent (trees, sod, mulch, irrigation, etc.) Prepare accurate, lot-specific bids (think: 400 oak trees, 300,000+ sq ft of sod, etc.) Work closely with field and operations teams to ensure scope, pricing, and timelines are aligned Collaborate with builders, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support bid strategy Help build out and systematize our estimating and preconstruction department Develop and refine internal processes for more consistent, scalable results Manage multiple bids and subdivision packages at once Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in landscape estimating, ideally in residential or production-scale environments Proficiency with PlanSwift or similar takeoff/estimating software Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets Ability to read and interpret site plans, utility layouts, and landscape drawings Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously Leadership mindset — ability to build structure, processes, and possibly a team as we grow Familiarity with builder bidding portals and production schedules a major plus
