Overview The

Accountant Senior

for our Food & Beverage teams is responsible for the maintenance and coordination of accounting books and records as well as the preparation, review, analysis, and presentation of various accounting processes including journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, and revenue & expense variance presentation and budgets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare general ledger closing entries.

Review, analyze, and present financial statements.

Reconcile general ledger balance sheet accounts and maintain proper backup.

Exercises proper judgment and presents all findings with a game plan to resolve issues.

Assist and support other staff members and other department managers.

Verify and confirm for accuracy and completion at month-end.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from a year of college with a minimum of five years of experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Timeshare and/or hospitality experience is strongly preferred.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Proficient knowledge of various accounting software - Oracle is a plus.

Proficient with Excel (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs), Word, Outlook

Strong analytical abilities.

Ability to work independently and in a group environment.
