The Rapid & Rural Logistics (R2L) team is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join the Automation Team. R2L covers high‑growth businesses such as Sub Same Day (SSD), Rural Super Rural (RSR), and Amazon Today (AT). The role focuses on process automation, operational insight, and analytical support for SSD, RSR, and AT delivery. The Automation partner works closely with Delivery and Operations to automate Program Manager manual processes.
Ideal candidates bring advanced analytical skills, a passion for automated operational management, and a self‑starter mindset. You will build solutions to automate Program Manager day‑to‑day tasks using dashboards, macros, scripts, and SQL. Excellent communication, leadership, and a fun‑driven attitude are essential.
Key Job Responsibilities • Own the design and development of projects that drive key business decisions. • Build innovative data solutions with large‑scale systems, prioritizing high‑impact work. • Automate processes by developing deep‑drop tools and dashboards to communicate insights. • Collaborate with business customers and cross‑functional data teams to solve problems and implement new solutions.

Take detailed requirements from stakeholders to deeply understand their manual processes and pain points.
Think creatively to identify technology‑driven solutions.
Design and implement optimal automation solutions for stakeholder needs.
Respond to ad‑hoc requests and provide support as needed.
Document all processes and solutions for knowledge capture and sharing.
About the Team The Rapid and Rural Logistics team manages high‑growth specialty fulfillment operations focused on fast, accurate delivery. We need agile, self‑directed individuals with a strong bias for action. Candidates should balance technical expertise in ETL, visualization, and scripting with strong stakeholder skills. Python and AWS experience are bonuses.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of data analysis with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
Experience with Tableau, QuickSight, or similar visualization tools.
Experience building ETL pipelines and data modeling.
Experience with statistical packages such as R, SAS, or Matlab.
SQL and scripting experience (Python) for data modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
Experience mining data and building ETL for large, complex datasets.
