Senior Director, Sales – Red Canary
you will use broad knowledge of the security landscape and sales expertise to provide leadership to Account Executives in your assigned territories. Through persistence, determination, and creativity, you will help Red Canary enable organizations to make their greatest impact without fear of cyber attack. Responsibilities
Define territory sales goals with the leadership team and implement processes, infrastructure and hiring to attain goals and quotas Hire, lead and mentor your team through weekly 1:1s and coaching to strategize and accurately forecast to upper management Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Customer Success, ADR, Channel team and Marketing to optimize sales and customer satisfaction Build strategies and develop materials vital to accelerate customer acquisition Nurture lasting business relationships with customers through consultative sales tactics and effective account management Use CRM to maintain records and report on activity and critical metrics Understand and internalize the Red Canary mission and translate them into a Sales strategy Participate in regular leadership meetings to share progress, identify blockers and drive resolution Support customer on-site visits, calls, and other activities as needed to close deals Report on sales metrics and forecast to senior sales management Deliver accurate forecasts with tight control of top deals and organizational discipline Empower individuals and the team to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship Minimum Qualifications
9+ years closing experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in information security 3+ years experience managing, hiring, mentoring and training field sales teams Proven sales track record with a strong focus on new customers Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communication, strong business acumen, organizational and time management skills Robust CRM analysis and reporting and forecasting skills (Salesforce preferred) Experience building and leading sales teams toward goals with professional feedback Strategic problem solver with ability to execute short-term and long-term sales plans Strong planning, writing, presentation and communication skills Growth mindset with ability to learn, adapt and improve Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented collaboration Zscaler salary ranges are benchmarked and determined by role and level. The posted range reflects minimum and maximum targets for new hires across US locations and may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and education or training. The base salary range listed excludes commission/bonus/equity (if applicable) plus benefits.
