DeltaPlus USA is hiring: Accounting Clerk in Woodstock

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to support our finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and daily financial transactions, including accounts payable & receivable, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, Microsoft Office and accounting software proficiency.

Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank, credit card and merchant accounts.
• Record customer payments and monitor aging reports.
• Collections.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing tax filings and compliance documentation.
• Help manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Conduct data entry and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Office Proficiency
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office & Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics)
