Essential Functions: Perform daily preventative maintenance on equipment in production areas. Diagnose, analyze and repair electro-mechanical and instrumentation equipment using meters, gauges and other testing methods. Apply knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic devices and principles to install, repair, and/or replace defective equipment. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment problems while demonstrating proactive maintenance concepts and employees’ best practices. Complete/perform PM assignments and documentation as scheduled. Effectively communicate with management regarding safety, quality, and production concerns. Identify need of replacement or of new equipment and inform management. Be cooperative with co-workers in order to maintain a good working environment. Focus on safety at all times - safe working habits, safe work area, and follow all general industrial safety guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Preferred 2 year technical degree or equivalent combination of education/ experience Industrial Plant Maintenance: 5+ years is required Must be able to demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Must be able to multi- task and work independently as the sole maintenance person for the facility. Must be able to work around grease, oils, chemicals, and solvents without adverse reaction Able to read and interpret, on a basic level, ladder logic, pneumatic, instrumentation, hydraulic and electrical drawings and manuals Use of precision measuring, gauging tools and electrical meters Experience with AC and DC motors, starters, PLC, capacitance & inductive sensors, relays, etc. Must be able to take a written skills assessment test prior to hiring Physical Job Requirements: Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, climbing, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting/moving (up to 75 pounds). Must be able to work from elevated platforms and ladder lifts. Benefits · Medical, dental, and vision available the 1st of the month after hire date.
