System Administrator II
to join our
Shared Technical Services (STS)
team - the nerve center of our managed IT services. You'll be a key player in managing alerts, remediating system issues, and guiding how tools and platforms are rolled out across our client networks.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys troubleshooting and has the humility and curiosity to constantly learn. You'll support both internal teams and external branches, mentor others on tool usage, and help standardize solutions across diverse infrastructures.
The salary range for this position is
$50,000 to $70,000 per year , depending on your certifications, experience, and demonstrated performance. We tie compensation directly to growth: employees can earn pay increases as they achieve certifications outlined in the role's professional development plan. New hires with relevant certifications may start higher in the range, while those without them should expect to grow into the upper end over time. This structure is designed to reward both current expertise and a commitment to continuous learning.
What You'll Do Deploy, administer, and improve monitoring platforms for systems and networks Construct, administer, and maintain our management systems based on SME areas Deploy, administer, and integrate security services platforms Source, build, and maintain automation scripts and tools for the organization Proactively remediate system or network health alerts and event notifications Document system provisioning and configuration standards Respond to system alerts and to service requests from other departments RMM Tools PowerShell
(Intermediate to Advanced scripting) Microsoft Active Directory , patching & update services Backup platforms DNS, network management tools, cloud-based tools Security alerting and remediation tools What You Bring
3+ years of system administration or IT operations experience, ideally in an MSP/NOC environment Solid grasp of Windows server environments, network protocols, and endpoint management Proven experience responding to system alerts and automating repetitive tasks Comfortable training others and documenting solutions clearly and thoroughly Ability to adapt quickly in ambiguous environments and shift focus as priorities evolve Nice-to-Haves
MSP background or experience with multiple client environments Experience with ITIL, project-based work, or cross-functional team collaboration Certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Networking etc.) a plus Familiarity with tools like IT Glue, ConnectWise, or other ticketing/documentation platforms Why Join Us
