Expert Technical Solutions has an outstanding opportunity for a POS Installation Technician with a fast-growing company in Marietta, GA
This is a Permanent opportunity offering competitive salary, excellent benefits, and growth opportunities!
Your role will be to ensure seamless POS hardware installation that meet quality standards and support
customer success.
There will be regular travel within a 90-mile radius of office location; occasional overnight or
weekend travel required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform the physical installation of POS terminals, printers, payment devices and networking hardware. Ensure all system components are installed, connected, and configured to company standards. Work from detailed project plans, equipment lists, and checklists to complete installation efficiently. Verify hardware functionality, peripheral integration, and network connectivity. Identify and resolve issues proactively before Go Live Work with POS Onboarding Specialist and support teams to validate successful setup. Communicate clearly with POS Onboarding Specialist for final staging, menu configuration, and payment setup. Coordinate Go Live readiness and ensure all customer-facing hardware is functioning and secure. Ensure smooth transition to post-install support through accurate documentation and checkouts. Maintain installation tools and company equipment in working order. Track and restock service hardware and supplies as needed. Ensure company vehicles are clean, organized, and maintained weekly. Represent the company professionally while on customer sites. Follow safety procedures, appearance standards, and respect customer environments. Deliver consistent installations that reflect our quality standards and company values. Skills:
Experience with hardware installation and cable management Strong communication and customer service abilities POS and payment system experience preferred Proficiency with remote supports tools (e.g., ConnectWise) Restaurant or hospitality experience
