Floor Technician
, you
will
use specialized, power equipment, and
be responsible for
the overall floor maintenance of
hard surface
and carpet (stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) areas that include offices, patient rooms, classrooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances,
stairwells,

move! Primary Duties: Performs preventative maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use.
Secures the work area and posts proper safety notices for other users of the space before starting work.
Performs floor care, including routine mopping (dry and damp),
buffing
and burnishing on
hard surface
floors and stairwells. Performs vacuuming, shampooing,
bonneting,
and extracting carpets,
stairwells,
and upholstery.
Performs wall cleaning. Performs dusting (high and low).
Performs routine restroom cleaning.
Performs routine office and/or classroom cleaning. Maintains floor care equipment.
Performs terminal cleaning with use of UV machine in
O
perating
R
oom
s
, patient
rooms
and public areas. Must be able to use
preprogrammed
electronic tablet for
initiating
timed UV cleaning cycles and data collection purposes.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED.
3 years of directly relevant job-related experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.
1 year experience and/or successful completion of the DES Floor Tech training program.
This position has a hiring range of $17.938 - $26.138
