The Director of Aftermarket Sales and Service will lead a team of Aftermarket Sales Specialist and Field Service personnel as they maximize customer value and business opportunities for Komline. By leveraging field service interactions to maintain an installed base and source leads for aftermarket sales, the Director of Aftermarket Sales and Service will establish a cohesive approach to customer lifecycle management. Additionally, the Director of Aftermarket Sales and Service will aid in the transformation of the business’ aftermarket and service operations in to a significate revenue and profit center while strengthening customer relationships and loyalty.

Duties And Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement comprehensive aftermarket business strategies for Komline-Sanderson's water and process equipment, including service plans, pricing models, and post-sale offerings that drive profitable growth Create and execute a unified vision for aftermarket sales and field service operations that leverages synergies between these functions Establish key performance indicators and metrics to track business performance and drive continuous improvement Identify and pursue new revenue streams and business opportunities within the aftermarket sector for our specialized separation technologies

Team Development & Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Aftermarket Sales Specialists and Field Service personnel Implement effective performance management processes that recognize talent and foster professional growth Create a customer-centric culture focused on technical excellence and problem-solving for complex water and process equipment Recruit, train, and retain top talent to support business growth objectives

Business Operations

Optimize internal processes related to parts ordering, service scheduling, warranty claims, and technical support Develop and maintain service level agreements that balance customer needs with operational efficiency Ensure all aftermarket activities comply with relevant industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards Collaborate with Finance to develop accurate forecasting models and manage departmental budgets effectively

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their operational needs and providing exceptional aftermarket support Negotiate strategic customer service contracts, extended warranties, and spare parts agreements Develop programs to increase customer loyalty and equipment lifecycle value across Komline-Sanderson's product portfolio Serve as an escalation point for complex customer issues requiring senior leadership involvement Develop strategies and tactics to effectively leverage our network of 3 rd Party Manufacturer Reps

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Engineering, Product Development, and Manufacturing teams to provide feedback on product performance and identify improvement opportunities Work closely with Sales and Marketing to develop compelling aftermarket value propositions and promotional materials Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure optimal inventory levels for critical spare parts for our specialized equipment Coordinate with Quality Assurance to maintain high standards across all service operations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or similar related field 10+ years of progressive relevant experience in aftermarket sales and/or service in manufacturing, capital equipment, or related industrial sectors 6+ years of experience managing teams of at least three direct reports with demonstrated success in developing talent Proven track record of driving profitable revenue growth in aftermarket business operations Strong understanding of service business models, parts management, and field service operations Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and digital tools for service management Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and business analytics tools

Nice To Have

Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience Salesforce experience Knowledge of water treatment, process equipment, or separation technologies Familiarity with Komline-Sanderson's product lines (Pumps, Gravity Belt Thickener, Belt Filter Press, Paddle Dryer, Turbo Dryer, Rotary Atomizer) Background in implementing digital service solutions or IoT-based predictive maintenance Experience in developing and launching new service products or programs MBA or technical master's degree
