Duties/Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Marketing Strategy and collaborating closely with leaders in the Office of Strategic Operations, the Strategic Marketing Associate leads marketing project planning, content development, and coordination to support university enrollment initiatives. The Strategic Marketing Associate supports the management of key admission marketing channels including print, social media and website content; assists with video and photography projects; and works with external vendors to ensure consistency in style and voice across marketing assets. They ensure all marketing materials are accurate, timely and aligned with Concordia University Chicago's mission and branding. Required Skills/Knowledge: Proven success managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Lead and coordinate marketing projects from planning through execution by maintaining timelines, aligning deliverables with university goals and collaborating effectively with internal teams and external vendors. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including writing and editing marketing copy with accuracy, attention to detail and consistent use of AP Style. Plan, create, and post social media content, engage audiences and track performance metrics. Occasional attendance at university events to acquire content for social media is required. Perform basic print, photo, and video editing and organize assets within digital management systems. Utilize a variety of design and production software, including Adobe Creative Suite. Commitment to aligning marketing efforts with Concordia University Chicago's mission, strategic priorities and Lutheran identity. Other duties as assigned. Desired qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Arts, or related field. Competency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge; Competency in website/content management system software, social media platforms, project management software. Competency in writing/editing according to Associated Press (AP) Style Manual. Graphic design, photography, and/or videography experience is a plus.
