We’re excited to partner with a growing organization in the benefits and employee services space that is looking for an HR Specialist to join their collaborative and people-focused team.

Position Details
Type: Temp-to-perm
Location: Onsite for training; potential hybrid schedule (2 days remote) after ramp-up
Salary: $60,000–$70,000/year
Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours
What You’ll Be Doing
Recruitment & Selection
Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and craft effective job postings
Post openings on multiple platforms and manage application flow
Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and collect feedback
Extend offers and maintain consistent candidate communication
Track recruitment metrics and suggest process improvements
Onboarding & Orientation
Coordinate all aspects of new hire onboarding, from IT setup to welcome materials
Conduct orientation sessions and introduce new employees to company culture and benefits
Ensure timely completion of all compliance paperwork and background checks
Continuously review and enhance onboarding processes
Benefits Administration Support
Assist with open enrollment—updating materials, answering employee questions, and scheduling presentations
Process benefit changes, HSA/FSA contributions, and COBRA notices
Maintain benefits data accuracy and partner with vendors as needed
Learning & Development Collaboration
Support HR in enhancing the Learning Management System (LMS)
Coordinate onboarding-related training with department managers
Assist in rolling out professional development initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of HR experience with focus on recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration
Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (Paylocity experience preferred)
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential information
Familiarity with self-funded benefit plans is a plus
