Accounting Associate Job at LHH in Overland Park

Overview

LHH has an immediate direct hire opportunity for somebody looking to launch their career into accounting and finance with a great team. Accounting Operations Associate, reporting to the Accounting Manager, will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the company. This hybrid position offers exposure to multiple areas of accounting and finance, with a focus on revenue accounting, document review, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

Accounting Duties:

• Participate in revenue accounting processes, including reviewing and auditing invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
• Monitor and respond to accounting-related emails, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with document review and verification to support financial transactions.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives across the accounting team.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure business objectives and deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, or a related business environment (internships included).
• Strong analytical thinker with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent collaborative communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic, rotational role.
