Senior Integration Engineer, US (Pacific Time) Pipe

is building cutting edge embedded financial solutions to help small businesses and software companies build something bigger. We're a remote-first team of problem solvers who build and ship at a high velocity. We're customer obsessed and leave our egos at the door. If this sounds fun, join us!

Role As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will be the technical linchpin for Pipe's most strategic partners. You'll lead integrations end-to-end – architecting scalable, secure solutions, guiding partners through technical complexity, and ensuring rapid, reliable launches. Beyond execution, you'll create the playbooks, tools, and processes that will allow Pipe to scale integrations across dozens of partners. This is a foundational hire: you'll shape how integration engineering works at Pipe from day one.

Responsibilities

Integration Architecture: Own the technical design of partner integrations, from APIs to workflows, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.

Integration and Project Execution: Guide partners through integration with Pipe's APIs from scoping to launch, while managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination across multi-geo rollouts.

Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve partner issues quickly, working with engineering teams when necessary.

Commercial and Customer Impact: Translate complex requirements into simple, actionable solutions that accelerate partner go-lives and revenue impact.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the connective tissue between sales, product, engineering, risk, and compliance to ensure smooth launches.

Process Improvement: Create and refine documentation, solution design docs (SDDs), statements of work (SOWs), playbooks, and other reusable assets that speed up and standardize future integrations.

Partner Enablement: Build confidence with partners by delivering joint test plans, data-share templates, Postman collections, and other technical resources that make integrations smoother and more transparent.

Trusted Technical Partner: Earn credibility with senior level stakeholders by demonstrating both technical fluency and business acumen.

Qualifications

5+ years in integration engineering, technical consulting, or implementation, ideally in fintech, payments, or SaaS.

Strong understanding of APIs and system integrations (REST, Webhooks, GraphQL).

Ability to read and debug at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar).

Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Excellent communication skills. Able to translate complex technical issues for both technical and business audiences.

Problem-solving mindset, motivated to move quickly in a high-growth environment.

Bonus: Experience supporting fintech or SaaS integrations (payments, lending, or embedded finance a plus), across multiple geographies, with exposure to localization, compliance, or payments.

US-based role. Pacific time zone.
