FT beginning January 2026 Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Part-time option available for now Tues and Thurs 9a-5p) Salary Amount or Range:
$35-$40/hour D.O.E. + standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays) Children:

San Francisco Description Start: FT in early January; family can offer PT hours (Tues and Thurs 9a-5p) now until then.
A family in the Richmond district is seeking a calm, loving nanny for their baby girl (born in June). Responsibilities include nurturing her emotional & physical needs, managing daily routines like feeding & bathing, facilitating age-appropriate learning and activities, and light laundry and tidying pertaining to the baby. The best person for them is attentive and engaged, integrates easily into their family, and can make a long-term commitment. Someone who is familiar with milestones and can guide parents through developmental transitions will be the best fit.
Experience Requirements 2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements Fluency in English Fluency in Spanish (nice to have, not required)
Qualifications
COVID-vaccinated + boosted
TB and Tdap vaccine
CPR Certified
Valid driver with clean record
Calm and friendly demeanor
Integrates into the household easily
Comfortable with parents working from home
Attentive to baby
Willingness to join the family on occasional travel
Potentially 2-3 x a year for a long weekend, domestic travel (NYC, SoCal)
Potentially one 7- to 10-day vacation (either domestic or international)
Excellent communication skills
Knowledgeable in development and milestones
Can make a long-term commitment (ideally 2-3 years until daughter starts preschool)
Responsibilities
Assisting parents with development and transitional aspects of childcare
Nurturing baby's emotional and physical needs
Managing daily routines such as feeding and bathing
Facilitating age-appropriate learning and activities
Engaging with baby (singing, reading, conversing, etc.)
Child laundry
Light tidying pertaining to the child
Preparing, washing, sanitizing bottles
Preparing meals/snacks once baby is ready
