Job Responsibilities and Required / Preferred Skills & Requirements
General Responsibilities Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures for diagnostic imaging, including preparation, administration, and disposal of radioactive materials. Operate imaging equipment such as GE, Phillips, and Siemens systems. Work closely with radiology and interdisciplinary teams to ensure accurate diagnostic results and patient safety. Flexibility required for scheduling.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ARRT (N)
CNMT
NMTCB
State License
Preferred Qualifications
ARRT (R)PET experience
Teaching Hospital and Trauma Level I / II experience
Key Skills
Bone, Brain, Liver, and Renal Scans
Myocardial and Stress Testing (Adenosine infusion, Exercise / Rest, Pharmacological Stress)
SPECT (Single-Photon Emission CT)
PET Scan procedures
Thyroid and Cancer Surveys
Gastric Emptying, HIDA, and Ventilation / Perfusion Lung Scans
Starting and maintaining IVs
Handling and disposal of radioactive materials
Drawing venous blood
Adult and Pediatric imaging exposure (preferred)
Equipment Experience GE, Phillips, Siemens
