Mechanical System and Design Analysis Engineer (Experienced or Senior)

Join the Boeing Commercial Airplanes Mechanical Systems Team as a Mechanical System and Design Analysis Engineer to support the 737 program in Renton, WA. This role works within the Environmental Control Systems organization to develop, produce, deliver, and support customers who fly Boeing airplanes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Position Responsibilities

Perform decompression, air distribution, equipment cooling, and metering tray analyses to support the 737 program. Conduct environmental qualification reviews. Maintain requirements traceability and development assurance. Prepare system safety analysis documentation, including Fault Hazard Assessments (FHAs), Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEAs), and Fault Tree Analyses (FTAs). Support lab and flight test activities. Assist factory and Airplane Delivery Center operations. Build airplane support manuals, such as Fault Isolation Manual (FIM) and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM). Interface with intra-Boeing engineering teams (Flight Deck Crew Operations, Pilots, Electrical Systems, Stress, Structures, Propulsion, Aerodynamics). Collaborate with suppliers and customers. Develop a project schedule and maintain deliverable releases on time. Lead, train, and mentor junior engineers. Work Authorization Statement

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. 3+ years of engineering experience. Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical knowledge in system controls, mechanical systems, systems modeling, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics. Knowledge in airplane development. Experience with airplane certification. Experience with JIRA, DESE/Cameo, Matlab/Simulink, and scripting code (Matlab, C++, Fortran). Pay & Benefits

Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.
