Summary of Position Responsibilities include:

Manage, plan, and execute daily Maintenance Department activities while maintaining guestrooms, public spaces, exteriors, restaurants, bars, and all back‑of‑house areas.

Act as Safety Director and lead all fire, life, and safety training and programs required by state and federal law.

Represent the property in building and maintaining vendor and peer relationships.

Use property data management systems to manage relationships with other NSH and related properties and sales associates.

Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, discipline, and evaluate maintenance staff for efficient department operation.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; a degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality.

Previous roles include hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel department manager.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Strong guest‑focused customer service experience as a manager.

Comprehensive knowledge of facility‑management trades and operations, including basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
