University of South Carolina, College of Pharmacy (COP), College of Pharmacy, Department of Drug Discovery and Biomedical Sciences (DDBS), Columbia, SC. Full‑time, 12 months, professional track, beginning January 2026.
Job Summary The DDBS invites applications for a full‑time professional track position at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor. The successful candidate will teach critical foundational content in the professional pharmacy curriculum, including first, second, and third year PharmD courses, and serve as course director for assigned courses.
Responsibilities
Teach professional pharmacy courses to PharmD students.
Serve as course director for assigned courses, ensuring timely and high‑quality course delivery.
Participate in developing and reviewing curriculum and instructional materials.
Engage in scholarly activities that support the mission of COP and DDBS.
Required Education and Experience
Ph.D. in a pharmaceutical sciences discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience teaching in the professional curriculum of an ACPE‑accredited College of Pharmacy in the United States.
