Atlas Real Estate Partners is a private real estate investment firm with offices in NYC and Miami that has experienced strong growth since its inception in 2009. Atlas has acquired or developed more than $1.8B in real estate with a primary focus on value‑add multifamily in the Southeast U.S. Atlas is an entrepreneurial firm that is expanding significantly. Atlas is deploying its discretionary fund and partnering with JV equity with a target of acquiring $1B+ in multifamily assets across the Southeast over the next 3–5 years.
Job Summary We are seeking an Acquisitions Analyst who will be based in Miami and will be responsible for reviewing and underwriting value‑add multifamily investment opportunities. In this role, the Analyst will engage in the full life cycle of the investment process. This will include underwriting, due diligence, financing, closing, reporting, repositioning, and dispositions. The Analyst will also contribute to the management of post‑close business plans and the ongoing success of investments. The candidate will primarily focus on value‑add & core‑plus multifamily investment opportunities in the Southeast U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess prospective multifamily investment opportunities
Build and maintain a network of contacts across brokers, lenders, preferred equity providers, and other 3rd parties
Perform deep market dives, both in person and via research
Maintain comprehensive deal databases, tracking all deals
Facilitate and assist in managing the due diligence and closing processes for potential acquisitions
Create and present investment memoranda for potential acquisitions to Investment Committee
Conduct micro / macro‑level market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
Interact regularly with onsite teams, regionals, brokers, appraisers, tax consultants, and lenders
Perform site tours / assessments for existing assets and prospective acquisitions
Assist in building out new platforms and formulating future strategies
Assist with asset management, including deal execution, performance tracking, variance analysis, reforecasting, refinancing's, and supporting quarterly investor reporting and ongoing investor requests
Requirements
1‑3 years’ experience working in real‑estate acquisitions, investment banking, and / or multifamily investment sales / capital markets
Experience in multifamily underwriting and evaluation
Strong / advanced financial modeling and quantitative skills with the ability to develop financial models from scratch
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail, intellectual rigor, and constant curiosity
Tech‑savvy, with an understanding of AI and its proper and potential uses in underwriting and operating multifamily properties
Desire to socialize with industry professionals and travel regularly
Ability to multi‑task in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal oversight
Compensation Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications
