Director, Digital Procurement & Technology Enablement
Location
Hybrid (U.S. based). Requires 3 days/week in-office at the nearest branch or corporate location.
The Role
At QXO, we are building a next generation procurement organization powered by technology, data, and AI. As Director of Digital Procurement & Technology Enablement, you will lead the design and adoption of digital platforms that make procurement faster, smarter, and more impactful. This role goes beyond system deployment, it will create and scale AI agents across the procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and contracting to supplier management, compliance, and analytics.
What you’ll do
Select and implement e-sourcing, P2P, CLM, and spend analytics platforms Integrate procurement platforms seamlessly with ERP and finance systems Explore, design, and deploy AI, RPA, and machine learning use cases in procurement Build and scale AI agents to support tasks across the procurement lifecycle including sourcing events, negotiations, contracting, supplier performance, risk monitoring, and analytics Train teams on digital tools, dashboards, and self-service analytics Drive stakeholder engagement and ensure adoption of new processes and technologies
What you’ll bring
Proven experience in digital procurement transformation or procurement technology leadership Strong knowledge of e-sourcing, P2P, CLM, and spend analytics tools Hands on expertise integrating procurement platforms with ERP and finance systems Practical understanding of AI, RPA, and automation technologies, with a track record of turning innovation into business impact Experience building or deploying AI agents for workflow automation and decision support Skilled trainer and change leader who drives user adoption across functions Strategic thinker who connects digital procurement to measurable business outcomes
