With a patient wait list extending several months, the practice is eager to welcome an associate optometrist as soon as possible to help ease scheduling demands, enhance efficiency, and ensure exceptional care for both new and established patients.

What You’ll Do As an Optometrist in this thriving practice, you will care for a diverse range of patients, from young children needing routine eye exams to seniors experiencing age‑related vision changes, as well as those requiring specialized treatments for complex eye conditions. You will utilize state‑of‑the‑art equipment, including OCT, a visual field analyzer, fundus photography, a digital refraction system, a corneal topographer, non‑contact tonometry, and an autorefractor to perform comprehensive eye tests with accuracy. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with a talented team of dedicated professionals to ensure a seamless and compassionate experience for each patient. This full‑time position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $170,000 to $180,000 per year.
Who You Are You are a passionate and dedicated individual committed to providing exceptional eye care and improving the vision health of the community, particularly in areas where eye care is most needed. You hold a valid Texas optometry license, and the ability to conduct exams in Spanish is a significant advantage, as many of the patients are bilingual, with many in the older population preferring Spanish. You are also highly skilled in handling a diverse range of patients with varying visual needs and age groups. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in pathology and contact lenses and is eager to stay current with the latest developments in optometry. You should also excel at creating personalized treatment plans, which contribute to the practice’s growth and strengthen its reputation as a community leader.
