Silver State Schools Credit Union is hiring an Accounting Representative II to support our mission of
Excellent Member Service and Financial Solutions – For Life . The role is based at 630 Trade Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV and is full‑time (40 hrs per week, Monday‑Friday 8 am–5 pm). Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding client service in alignment with our Service Commitments and Core Values. Develop, coach, and supervise branch staff and ensure a high‑performance culture. Develop and maintain fixed‑asset tracking system, prepaid expense ledger, and fixed‑asset depreciation schedules. Prepare and enter end‑of‑month journal entries, income/expense accruals, GL reclassifications, and reconcile all balance‑sheet GL accounts monthly. Perform bank account reconciliations daily, and assist with statistical, regulatory, and management reporting. Assist the Accounting Services Manager and Controller with special projects, and other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Maintain an accurate and timely financial close and participate in periodic close activities. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with an accounting emphasis. Six (6) years of accounting experience, preferably in a financial institution. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Equal Opportunity Employer
