What You Will Be Doing The Records Analyst works with the State Records Manager to assist public agencies in the orderly management of their records. Key responsibilities include drafting records retention schedules, preparing records disposition notices, approving transfers, providing consultation and outreach, tracking the movement and disposition of state records, generating inventories and related reports, and liaising with stakeholders, vendors, and records custodians.

Records Analyst Minimum Qualifications

Records Analyst 1

– Associate degree in any major.

Records Analyst 2

– Associate degree in any major and two years of entry‑level professional records analysis and management experience at the State of Alaska or equivalent.

Substitution Graduate education up to one year of the required experience (two semester hours equal one month) is substitutable, provided it matches the required field.
