Employment Counsel Montefiore Eistein is seeking an Employment Counsel to assist with providing guidance to the various departments within Human Resources including Total Rewards, Recruitment, Labor & Employee Relations and Learning.

Essential Functions

Responding to charges and complaints of discrimination filed with the NY City Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), NY State Division of Human Rights (SDHR) and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)

Conducting hearings and/or negotiating settlements with the CCHR, SDHR, EEOC

Providing advice on internal investigations and unemployment hearings

Assisting with the review and determination of reasonable accommodation requests

Assisting with drafting, reviewing and updating HR policies

Drafting and conducting trainings

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate Law Degree

4-6 years of Employee Relations experience

Strong writing, analytic, interpersonal, investigative and communication skills and must also be proactive

Work is performed on site; work could require visits to various Montefiore sites

Location: Yonkers, NY

Work Schedule: MON-FRI, 8:30 AM-5 PM

Salary Range: $168,000.00-$210,000.00

For positions that have only a rate listed, the rate displayed is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education, or other relevant factors.
