Job Description To oversee and coordinate all night time hotel and night audit functions, and ensure all financial transactions for the day are verified and balanced and oversee overnight hotel operations.
Responsibilities
Prepare a timely and accurate Daily Report (Daily Business Summary DBA)
Expeditious and diplomatic resolution of guest problems
Fully knowledgeable in all emergency procedures
Accurate preparation of VIP, complimentary, house use rooms, and out of order lists
Ensure proper registration of guests and credit procedures are followed
Distribution of all nightly reports
Next day arrival setup (Next day specials, billing, etc.)
Ensure Comp Room Report is checked and completed prior to 11pm
Obtain nightly city-wide occupancy and average rate figures
Maintain current back up reports
Handle express check-outs ensuring their completion
Training and supervising of Night Auditors and 3rd shift front office staff
Preparing weekly night audit schedule
Ensuring adherence to all systems and control procedures
Documenting errors made by cash handling associates
Assist in and ensure completion of night audit checklist and responsibilities
Balancing of daily postings and revenue
Provide clear and consistent communication with all overnight staff
Must arrive promptly for shifts and remain on property for the duration of shift until a relief manager has arrived
Ensure manager walks are completed and communicated to staff
Qualifications
Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience and front desk hotel experience required preferrably in a high volume high end hotel enviorment
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and resolve issues on the spot
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be available for scheduling based on business demands to include weekends and holidays
Must be able to work 50 hour work week
Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and excellent driving record
Must have 21 years of age or older and willing/able to pass a drug screen
