Job Purpose The Talent Acquisition Business Operations and Compliance Leader is a critical enabler of Talent Acquisition success, responsible for building and maintaining the operational infrastructure that empowers recruiters to attract, engage, and hire top-tier talent. This role contributes to the TA vision of delivering high-quality talent acquisition services through leveraging and maintaining key TA systems, managing vendor partnerships, driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and innovative recruitment marketing and analytics.
Key Accountabilities
Lead and execute TA operations enterprise-wide initiatives across systems, technology, vendor management, analytics, recruitment marketing, and compliance to drive efficiency and innovation ensuring timely delivery, measurable outcomes, and alignment with organizational priorities.
Provide technical expertise and leadership to develop consistent processes and practices across TA function and regional projects.
Develop & deliver data-driven insights through reporting and analytics to inform decision-making and enhance recruiter performance and candidate experience. Communicate regularly with senior leadership and business stakeholders to share insights, progress, and recommendations.
Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Consistently coach, mentor, and develop team members, to reach their full potential. Oversee performance management and associate development to build future leadership capability within the Talent Acquisition.
Lead project management and optimization of TA systems and vendor partnerships to support scalable, compliant, and user-friendly hiring processes.
Oversee recruitment marketing initiatives that enhance employer brand visibility and candidate engagement. Understand the influence of Honda’s employment brand and build a plan to infuse this branding into all aspects of the recruitment process and associate experience.
Oversee compliance audits and ensure adherence to federal, state, and internal employment policies and practices.
Serve as a key liaison between TA, HR and Business functions, including HRDT, HRConnect, Compensation, BHR, LHR, Legal, Procurement, to ensure cohesive talent strategies.
Qualifications, Experience, And Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/HR, or equivalent experience and knowledge
Minimum of 8 years of overall HR experience
Minimum 2 years in a leadership role
Minimum 4 years in a Talent Acquisition role or equivalent experience
Ability to develop and execute TA strategy aligned with business objectives
Proven experience leading enterprise-level TA operations, compliance, and technology initiatives.
Expertise in recruitment systems, analytics, and process optimization.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
Understanding of employment law, compliance standards, and audit processes.
Strong leadership capabilities
Recruiting systems & process management
Analytical skills – ability to assess and analyze the current state and emerging trends both internally and externally.
Working Conditions
5-10 hours OT / week
Travel (5%) required
