O'Reilly Auto Parts The Talent Acquisition Operations Coordinator will oversee the partnership between field leadership and the Talent Acquisition team. They will collaborate with TA, Store Operations, HR Technology, and other HR areas to communicate the TA strategy, training, and use of technology, and will work on continuous improvement of day-to-day TA operations. Responsibilities
Communicate HR talent acquisition processes and initiatives; partner with district/functional area management; provide professional HR talent acquisition guidance to managers and employees; ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements. Collaborate with hiring managers to support high-volume recruitment across various business sectors; prepare and draft advertisements and job postings; review and disposition candidates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); coordinate interview schedules; ensure requisitions are managed compliantly. Develop and maintain a proactive candidate pipeline through direct applicants, sourcing of passive candidates, referrals, and partnerships with hiring managers to build talent pools. Facilitate corporate orientation and other TA operational tasks; review processes for continuous improvement. Provide HR talent acquisition consultation to empower field leadership in interviewing, selecting candidates, defining selection criteria, and representing the employer brand to candidates. Participate in regular meetings with field leadership to discuss sourcing initiatives and provide TA consultation when necessary. Use professional judgment in recruitment matters such as drafting postings, requisitions, and process administration. Contribute to workforce planning initiatives; analyze data and develop internal/external TA action plans for resolution. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to posting, interviewing, and selection; partner with the legal department as needed to reduce legal risks and ensure compliance. Assist with developing end-user communications and hiring strategies to foster adoption of TA deliverables; work with busy hiring managers to prioritize recruitment. Stay current on recruiting techniques, talent pipeline development, employment laws, and required regulatory standards. Qualifications
Required Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of relevant post-education experience in enterprise-level HR talent sourcing, recruitment, or talent acquisition. Analytical and organizational skills with business acumen to bridge business and HR. Familiarity with talent pool development, passive candidate attraction strategies, job postings and social media engagement, interviewing, and relevant employment law. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for HR and non-HR audiences. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail in a dynamic environment. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to apply HR knowledge to data and feedback to reach solutions. Desired Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field with HR concentration (or equivalent experience). Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), MS Office, HR tools, and related technology. Understanding of O’Reilly Auto Parts values and a track record of growth and internal promotion.
