Accelerated Equity Path:
Achieve full equity partnership in 3–5 years, not 10–15. We have a clear succession plan and are looking for our next owner.
Inherit a Practice:
Step into a warm book of business with direct client handoffs and center-of-influence introductions from our senior partners.
Build Your Franchise:
While inheriting relationships, you will be expected to architect and execute your own growth plan, originating clients, and becoming a recognized expert in the Greater Minneapolis market. We will open the doors—you will own the results.
Lead & Influence:
Serve as a culture-setter in a boutique firm of 10-12 professionals. Your standards for quality, client care, and technical excellence will directly shape our future.
Pure Consulting Focus:
Advise on high-value strategies—M&A structuring, succession planning, multi-state issues, and estate/transfer planning. We are a pure tax consulting firm; we do not sell products.
You Will:
Architect Client Strategy:
Lead client discovery and design proactive, multi-year tax plans for businesses, families, trusts, and estates.
Deliver Technical Excellence:
Translate complex federal and Minnesota tax law into actionable strategies, overseeing complex compliance and drafting client-ready planning memoranda.
Drive Relationship & Business Development:
Become the primary confidant for inherited clients while systematically cultivating a network of attorneys, bankers, and family office advisors to build your own book.
Mentor & Lead:
Model elite standards for junior staff, elevating the firm’s pace, quality, and client-centric approach.
Manage Your Practice:
Own your client workflow, engagement economics, and quality control from proposal to implementation.
You Have:
Some demonstrated experience in a public accounting firm, primarily focusing on tax consulting and planning for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts/estates.
Verifiably passed at least one CPA exam section with another section scheduled (assuming you don't have a CPA license).
Technical command of entity structuring, multi-state taxation, succession planning, and estate/wealth transfer strategies.
An unmistakable drive to build client relationships, originate new business, and achieve equity ownership.
Commitment to working full-time from our Eden Prairie headquarters.
