Summary Serves as the single point of contact with assigned customers for SRP’s large business accounts to build and enhance relationships with key decision makers. This includes resolving issues with these customers and providing qualitative preparation of major energy, pricing, renewable energy, sustainability, and carbon initiatives. Requires comprehensive baseline understanding of SRP's corporate direction involving Strategic Planning, Resource Planning, Corporate Pricing, Economic Development, Sustainability, Supply & Trading, Product Development, Government Relations, Strategic System Projects, Transmission Planning, Engineering and Water Resources. Ability to comfortably engage and clearly communicate with local and/or national, customer corporate energy teams and industry consultants bridging alignment of advanced energy concepts developed by SRP decision makers. Perform special projects as guided by the Large Business Account Management Manager, including various opportunities to lead required initiatives with key SRP Commercial customers.

What You’ll Do

Serve as single point of contact with assigned customers.

Represent SRP in discussions with SRP's commercial and industrial customers.

Provide customer interpretation and guidance to SRP's Management about complex energy and sustainability initiatives. This important engagement serves SRP's Senior Leadership in creating aligned future initiatives with SRP's most critical strategic customers.

Analyze assigned customer operations for opportunities to market SRP's current products and services using energy management analyses and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities.

Evaluate and recommend end-use technologies and materials related to customer's energy use and facility operation. Coordinate and/or perform price plan comparisons plus load and cost of operation evaluation for customers.

Analyze assigned market segment for trends that pose opportunities for or threats to the customers’ businesses as well as SRP's goals.

Establish a track record of engaging with various levels within assigned customer base, may include hosting events and travel.

On occasion will require availability to SRP and customers outside business hours.

Effectively communicate to customers SRP's Rules & Regulations, Price Plans, Corporate Objectives.

What It Takes To Succeed

Prefer experience in MS Apps, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Experience A minimum of five years of related experience is required. If no degree, nine years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling nine years.

Education A bachelor’s degree related to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.

Hybrid Workplace SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
