Responsibilities

Deliver agreed KPIs for the store, focusing on sales, AVT, IPT, conversion and CRM.

Inspire and motivate the team by leading by example.

Communicate effectively with the Store Manager, providing commercial insights and fact‑based recommendations to improve business and client experience.

Embod oneself al values in grooming, language/storytelling and behaviors to ensure a unique client experience aligned with Diptyque’s signature.

Guarantee excellent client welcoming and supervise sales to ensure client satisfaction and maintain the qualitative standards required by the brand.

Contribute to client‑experience training for all team members.

Achieve high contributions to client‑experience evaluation targets.

Serve as the point of reference for clients and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.

Deal directly and effectively with VIP clients.

Stay aware of key competitors and industry trends.

Drive development of the client database.

Lead by example to achieve CRM KPI targets and product knowledge.

Demonstrate extensive knowledge of products and represent the brand, articulating new and key seasonal ranges.

Be proactive in using provided training tools.

Responsible for opening and closing check‑list.

Ensure cash handling guidelines are followed, bank transactions and petty cash.

Maintain full knowledge of cash desk procedures and processes.

Address all security and health‑and‑safety issues and requirements.

Respond to emergency calls and manage emergency situations involving the store and team members.

Adhere to VM guidelines at all times.

Assist with product launches, sampling campaigns, in‑store displays, layouts and window schemes.

Maintain attentiveness to detail and cleanliness of the boutique.

Work with Management to manage maintenance within the store in a timely manner.

Complete general administrative duties as required.

Attend meetings and calls in the Store Manager team’s absence.

Master POS systems and stock control.

Support all actions of loss prevention and manage risk, physical security, store cash controls and inventory management.

Ensure stock levels are sufficient and monitor them, conducting regular scheduled stock takes as required.

Control inventory delivery processing, replenishment, gift wrapping and maintain a clean and organized stockroom.

Requirements

Passion and previous experience in fragrance, beauty, or luxury retail.

Assertive, dynamic and always a “can do” positive attitude.

Team player.

Sales focused with a proven sales record.

Understanding of retail KPIs.

Expert client service skills and confident interaction with the general public.

Self‑motivated, focused and proactive.

Strong communication skills.

Groomed at all times, appearance must reflect our company and store.
