Base pay range $25.00/hr – $26.00/hr

Responsibilities

Deliver agreed KPIs for the store – these KPIs focus on sales, AVT, IPT, conversion and CRM.

Inspire and motivate the team by leading by example.

Work with the Store Manager to communicate effectively a level of commercial understanding about the store and, when performance dictates, make fact‑based recommendations to improve the business client experience.

Embed Diptyque’s values in grooming, language/storytelling and behaviors to ensure a unique client experience aligned with the brand signature.

Guarantee excellent client welcoming and supervise sales to maintain the qualitative standards required by the brand.

Actively contribute to client‑experience training for all team members.

Make a high contribution to achieving the client‑experience evaluation target.

Serve as the point of reference for both clients and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.

Deal directly and effectively with VIP clients.

Stay aware of key competitors and industry trends.

Lead the development of the client database.

Achieve CRM KPI targets and demonstrate strong product knowledge.

Articulate new and key product ranges for the season as a full brand representative.

Use training tools provided by Store Operations proactively.

Manage opening and closing check‑lists.

Ensure cash‑handling guidelines are followed, including bank transactions and petty cash.

Maintain full knowledge of cash desk procedures and processes.

Be aware of all security, health and safety issues and requirements of the store.

Respond to and manage emergency situations involving the store and team members.

Adhere to visual merchandising (VM) guidelines at all times.

Assist with product launches, sampling campaigns, in‑store displays, layouts and window schemes per the marketing plan.

Maintain detail‑oriented cleanliness of the boutique.

Collaborate with Management to manage store maintenance in a timely manner.

Complete general administrative duties as required.

Attend meetings and calls in the Store Management team’s absence.

Master POS systems and stock control.

Support loss prevention actions in all areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls and inventory management.

Ensure stock levels are sufficient and monitored, conducting scheduled stock takes as required.

Handle delivery processing, replenishment and gift wrapping as part of inventory control.

Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.

Requirements

Passion and prior experience in fragrance, beauty or luxury retail.

Assertive, dynamic, with a “can do” attitude.

Team‑player mindset.

Proven sales record and focus on sales.

Understanding of retail KPIs.

Expert client‑service skills and confident public interaction.

Self‑motivated, focused and proactive.

Strong communication skills.

Professional grooming at all times.

The hourly rate for this position is $25 – $26.
