Administrative Assistant
Health Care Division, Attorney General’s Office
The Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell seeks a highly motivated Administrative Assistant to support the Health Care Division (HCD), which enforces consumer protection laws, improves health care affordability and accessibility, operates a public helpline, and mediates consumer complaints.
Responsibilities
Provide direct support to the Division Chief and Division Assistant Attorneys General, including preparing reports and correspondence, managing calendars, and responding to phone calls.
Process complaint intakes and make internal and external referrals.
Review all external correspondence received by HCD for appropriate action.
Track cases and compile records, ensuring accuracy.
Respond to public inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Assist in the development, implementation, and presentation of HCD priorities.
Collaborate with HCD’s Public Records Officer to respond to records requests.
Serve as the division’s contact for other bureaus and divisions within the Attorney General’s Office.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Effective organizational, time management, and keen attention to detail.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Efficiently assess complex situations.
Comfort interacting with the public on the phone (preferred).
Knowledge and interest in health care and health insurance (preferred).
Connection to the people and communities served and commitment to a respectful, diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
Salary $58,290
