Administrative Assistant
Health Care Division, Attorney General’s Office
The Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell seeks a highly motivated Administrative Assistant to support the Health Care Division (HCD), which enforces consumer protection laws, improves health care affordability and accessibility, operates a public helpline, and mediates consumer complaints.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the Division Chief and Division Assistant Attorneys General, including preparing reports and correspondence, managing calendars, and responding to phone calls.
- Process complaint intakes and make internal and external referrals.
- Review all external correspondence received by HCD for appropriate action.
- Track cases and compile records, ensuring accuracy.
- Respond to public inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and presentation of HCD priorities.
- Collaborate with HCD’s Public Records Officer to respond to records requests.
- Serve as the division’s contact for other bureaus and divisions within the Attorney General’s Office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Effective organizational, time management, and keen attention to detail.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Efficiently assess complex situations.
- Comfort interacting with the public on the phone (preferred).
- Knowledge and interest in health care and health insurance (preferred).
- Connection to the people and communities served and commitment to a respectful, diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
Salary
$58,290
