Job Description
We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join a dynamic team driving a high-impact, $190M clean water infrastructure initiative. The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale construction projects, particularly in the water/wastewater or industrial sector, and be comfortable managing RFIs, submittals, and coordination tasks. This role offers growth paths to Project Manager or Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities
Support project management activities including RFIs, submittals, and coordination
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and other engineers on-site
Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle—from preconstruction and estimating to closeout
Engage with subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth execution
Qualifications
1-5 years in water infrastructure projects
Experience with water/wastewater or clean water infrastructure projects
RFIs, submittals, and coordination experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Exposure to full project lifecycle
Experience managing projects valued between $10M-$50M preferred
Preconstruction and estimating experience preferred
Not a Fit
Candidates from oil & gas or energy sectors
Process engineers without relevant water/wastewater experience
Commercial construction professionals seeking to stay in that sector
Work Environment On-site at the Westminster, CO. Collaborative team of Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $82,000 – $107,000/yr. Compensation: $82,000–$107,000/year + discretionary bonus (3–7%, eligible starting next year) Career Path: PE Superintendent Project Manager
Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Denver, CO.
