Cascadia Health Location / Schedule The position is located at 1818, a day treatment facility in SE Portland, OR. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Program Overview Cascadia Health delivers integrated mental health and addiction services to promote community well‑being. The Program Coordinator supports the Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB) day treatment center, coordinating services, ensuring compliance, and assisting clients in achieving stability and transition to less restrictive settings. Essential Responsibilities Act as liaison between residents, treatment teams, program staff, and community providers to ensure effective service coordination. Plan, facilitate, and oversee group therapy sessions and skills training as required by individualized treatment plans. Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate the random urinalysis schedule for clients in the program. Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, tracking prior authorizations, and submitting required reports. Assist in crisis intervention and de‑escalation following emergency protocols. Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and vendor coordination. Ensure safety compliance, including adherence to HIPAA, mandatory abuse reporting laws, and fire regulations. Attend staff meetings, training, and supervision sessions. Regulatory & Compliance Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date documentation that ensures compliance with all agency policies and local, state, and federal regulations. Participate in all scheduled staff meetings, supervision sessions, and company meetings. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science field OR three years of full‑time experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Must be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) and maintain certification current. Preferred Experience Experience with individuals with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or histories of homelessness. Experience with case management, program coordination, or administrative tasks in a social service setting. Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, Trauma‑Informed Care, and Strength‑Based Practices. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems. Understanding of community resources, benefits coordination, and housing supports. Additional Requirements Valid driver’s license and minimum one year driving history. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ability to use AED equipment. Working Conditions Work performed in clinical office and community settings. Must remain alert on all shifts.
