Cascadia’s PSRB forensic and clinical programs offer diverse, strengths-based, trauma-informed treatment services in outpatient, community, and residential settings to individuals mandated to treatment by the State of Oregon’s PSRB. Services include individual therapy, case management, crisis support, and monitoring and supervision of PSRB release conditions. The goal is to promote health, wellness, stability, and safety within the community. We offer a continuum of care, including residential settings to living independently in the community. Responsibilities

Provide monitoring and supervision for clients under PSRB jurisdiction and assist clients with developing and maintaining structured activities aligned with their goals and release terms. Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver therapeutic services tailored to clients’ needs. Complete comprehensive behavioral health assessments, create individualized service plans, and maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR). Collaborate with other providers and support systems to ensure comprehensive treatment planning and continuity of care. Offer strengths-based case management and motivational interviewing in various settings, including clients’ homes or community venues, using assertive engagement techniques. Establish trusting relationships to support self-advocacy, goal setting, and achievement of milestones. Foster collaborative relationships with community stakeholders to promote stability and continuity of care. Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation to minimize acute care needs and hospitalizations. Maintain accurate documentation in line with agency policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations; support billing requirements. Assist clients in obtaining necessary services and benefits (medical, housing, social services). Transport clients to appointments and community services as needed. Engage in an on-call rotation to provide crisis intervention services as required. Comply with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures governing program and company operations. Qualifications

Education:

Master’s degree in a behavioral science field from an accredited college or university. Must demonstrate competencies to become credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) per Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs), or credentialed via state licensing boards (Board of Licensed Social Workers, Board of Licensed Professional Counselors). Certification must be current and compliant with OARs through MHACBO or respective licensing board. Experience:

Clinical experience providing adult inpatient or outpatient mental health services is preferred. Specialized Skills and Knowledge:

Ability to conduct Mental Status assessments and formulate diagnoses per the DSM; proficient verbal and written communication; understanding of recovery model, motivational interviewing, illness management and recovery, evidence-based practices, and strength-based case management; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Other:

Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving history; ability to pass DMV check and complete Cascadia online Defensive Driving course (some programs). CPR Certification (training provided post-hire). Working Conditions:

Outpatient and occasional community or residential settings; universal precautions due to exposure to disease, biohazards, noise, and contaminants; general business hours with potential after-hours crisis response; flexible scheduling; ability to assist with community transportation and safety in potentially volatile situations.
