Automotive Sales Consultant
Every experience in life begins with the first impression. We are looking to expand our team and searching for someone who will deliver an unforgettable first impression for our customers. No automotive sales experience necessary. The Sales Associate is responsible for providing an exceptional customer purchasing experience. The Sales Associate will ensure the customer receives all the information they are looking for and present brand specific knowledge on New and Pre‑owned vehicles while assisting in their buying decision. Utilize our CRM System to ensure timely, professional follow‑up and to maintain strong relationships with sold and prospective customers.

Job Description
Greet customers in a prompt, friendly and professional manner.
Gather customer contact & interest information from new customers and accurately enter it into the CRM.
Maintain rapport with previous & potential customers by suggesting trade‑ins, responding to inquiries, recommending sales campaigns & promotions, and following up on all leads from various sources.
Professional product presentations to all customers by demonstrating knowledge of characteristics, capabilities, features, warranties & services.
Continuously build knowledge of new and updated product information.
Offer and accompany customers on demonstration ride(s).
Schedule and maintain your own calendar for customer appointments and/or follow ups.
Attend and actively participate in daily sales/training meetings to assist in reaching individual & department goals.
Maintain appearance and cleanliness of inventory on the display lots & showrooms.
Qualify buyers by understanding their requirements & interests.
Close sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales, negotiating price, completing sales or purchase contracts, explaining provisions, offering warranties & services, collecting payment, delivering vehicle if applicable.
Enhance dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new & different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

The Sales Associate works under the direct supervision of the Assistant Sales Manager, Sales Manager, and General Sales Manager.
Sales Associate to Finance Manager – Experienced sales personnel will have an opportunity to train for Finance.
Finance Manager to Sales Manager or Pre‑Owned Sales Manager – Experienced Finance Manager will have an opportunity to train for Sales Manager.
Sales Manager to General Sales Manager – Experienced Sales Managers will have the opportunity to train and become a leader within our company, and eventually become a General Manager.
Environmental & Physical Requirements
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands & fingers to feel & handle, reach with arms & hands, talk & hear. May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required.
This position may require up to 5‑10% travel.
