Retirement Planning Specialist – Coldstream
Join our Portland team as a Senior Retirement Plan Specialist, helping clients navigate 401(k) planning, simplify retirement savings, and build a strong foundation for future financial goals. What you will do
Manage client relationships, ensuring a gold‑standard client experience through in‑person, phone, and email interactions. Prepare and process client maintenance documentation (account applications, transfer documents) and onboarding applications. Log all activities and client data in the firm’s CRM, entering accurate and detailed notes after meetings. Collaborate closely with the Retirement Plan Advisor on client review meetings, preparing materials and following up on action items. Perform calendaring functions with internal teams and external clients, prospects, and Centers of Influence (COIs). Conduct on‑site education and enrollment meetings, and assist with 401(k) participant meetings. Assist with preparation of requests for proposal (RFPs). Interact with trustees, plan sponsors, plan participants, third‑party administrators, and recordkeepers to answer questions and service retirement plans. Experience and Skills
Minimum 2 years of client‑facing experience in the financial services industry; experience with retirement plans preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Experience with Salesforce is preferred. Series 65 license is a plus, or willingness to obtain it within 12 months at Coldstream’s expense. Benefits
Competitive base salary ($70k‑$80k) plus annual bonus.
